Campaign Kickoff May 1st 2016

DR. MULROY JOINS LOCAL COMMUNITY TO EFFECT WORLDWIDE CHANGE DURING 2016 SMILES FOR LIFE CAMPAIGN

Brighten your smile, brighten a life!
Brighten your smile, brighten a life!

[Holden, MA] – May 2, 2016 – When local dental patients have their teeth whitened, they can smile a little brighter knowing that they are also bringing a smile to the face of a child in need. Mulroy Family Dental has joined up withe the 18th Annual Smiles for Life Campaign, which means dental patients in our area can brighten a child’s future just by whitening their teeth at a discount. The campaign runs from May 1 until June 30, and 100% of the proceeds from teeth whitening procedures done at Mulroy Family Dental are contributed directly to the Smiles for Life Foundation to benefit children’s charities worldwide, and Young Life of Wachusett which benefits teens in our region. As an additional incentive, each tooth whitening patient enjoys their smile brightening procedure at a discounted rate. Patients love the unique opportunity to improve the lives of disadvantaged children while also enhancing their own smile.

“This campaign allows us to join with our patients to accomplish great gains for teens in our community as well as seriously ill and disabled children nationwide. We are so grateful for our families and health, and don’t take it for granted that there are children struggling all around us that need a hand,” explains Dr. Mulroy. “Our patients receive a whiter brighter smile, and best of all, provide children with a brighter future.”

Since its creation, the Crown Council’s Smiles For Life Campaign has raised over $36,000,000 for seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged kids. That’s a staggering $2M a year average, all thanks to participation from local communities and dental practices. Smiles For Life hopes to continue this tremendous pace for donations this year.

Half of the donations raised by Dr. Mulroy and his team will go to benefit Young Life of Wachusett, a mentorship program that reaches teens at risk for depression, suicide, and drug abuse in the Wachusett Region. The remaining balance goes to the Smiles For Life Foundation to support its national and international initiatives, including programs in the Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Guatemala. Smiles For Life also maintains a strong longtime partnership with the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation supporting Child Life Zones in Children’s Hospitals across the United States. Stay tuned to see how much Smiles For Life is able to raise this year. Better yet, participate!
